SPORTS MANAGEMENT INTERNSHIP

FunGame Sports collaborates and works exclusively with partners and students within Public Relations and Marketing; the sports industry is a rapidly growing and multi-faced industry with plenty of positions to offer. Sports internships may include sports management, sports marketing, sports social media and sports operations. Sports agencies and marketing firms are an excellent way to network within the industry. The marketing and promotions intern will support daily office operations associated with sponsorship, promotions and community relations.  Interns will provide sports video production support handle public relations, cliental social media, press releases, media database and help plan and attend events.

FunGame Sports student interns will:

•Manage communication with all potential, new and retuning participants. 
•Manage league and event details
•Collaborate with each Marketing Coordinator on development and updating of content for print, digital and social media. 
•Assist with sponsorship marketing – collateral materials and follow up on sponsorship deliverables. 
•Coordinate and manage marketing plans for individual events in market – including digital and print. 
•Coordinate with outside graphic artist on securing artwork for various projects. 
•Maintain email newsletter communication efforts. 
•Assist with events as needed on weekdays, weeknights and/or weekend

The Social Media Intern will report directly to the Social Media Manager and will be responsible for maintaining day-to-day tasks including, but not limited to: 

• Gathering, curating and scheduling content across social channels
• Reporting account engagement and interactions
• Monitoring competitor and industry activity
• Building and scheduling weekly email newsletters
• Studying social media marketing tools and strategies
